    Certainly not silly at all! The world is full of famous paintings showing pets or animals in general. I personally would never hang on my walls a painting of an animal even if it's my pet. However that doesn't refrain me from painting Shy which I did as an exercise.

    Susan, this is beautiful! This I would love to have on a wall in my office (next to a beautiful Kasemir Malevich which I adore)!
