I'm thinking about selling a limited run of A4 giclee prints of this piece and donating profits to Cancer research UK but I'must unsure of the legal complications.
Firstly... can I sell an image of a celebrity.
Secondly, I used a photograph as reference (however I believe this painting is different to the original enough to avoid any copyright infringement).
If anyone knows if I could do this any help would be appreciated.

I was surprised and saddened when I heard.
Good tribute painting. Seems to get his introspective side where so much of his great stuff got cooked up. As if he's listening and watching inside like an internal pre-screening.
