choice of what to undo

with that i mean the possibility to choose what you want to undo rather then undo all the steps till you arrive on the layer you want to undo.A kind of a undo list you can choose from.?Does that make any sense?

That would be like the history panel in photoshop. An interesting and potentially useful addition but I wonder how much it would add to the file size and how much of a load that would put on the processors. PTG files can already get very large. But I have zero knowledge when it comes to these things so I have no idea.
