Cool. So what does Aaron Rutten say about it? Are you getting the effect he's teaching?
"Not a bit is wasted and the best is yet to come. . ." -- remembered from a dream
Intense, deep colors in a quite excellent painting. Love it!
Panta rei (everything flows)!
DA - I haven't shown this in his forum - it's a new forum but virtually no action and he rarely looks in.I did show a couple of others which he liked - especially the fact that his tutorials could be translated with another painting software. One of them (which I haven't shown here) he asked if he could do a Youtube critique of it to show just that.
This particular painting was done on Frank's computer with just the bare bones AR - none of my brush presets, etc. - mainly palette knife and airbrush. I have picked up some good pointers relating to digital painting from photographs from the tutorials.
I am having so much trouble with my 2yr old computer. Each time I think it's fixed I get another BSOD! Took it to the techs twice and they can't find anything wrong. The reason I was on Frank's computer was to see if it was any of my devices causing problems. I connected my external h/d's and installed AR and my graphic tablets on his computer and everything worked perfectly.
The next thing I'm trying as we speak, is checking the 2nd monitor to see if that's working as it should.
Getting BSODs almost everyday is getting me down - and interfering with my painting. I'm almost tempted to buy a new computer which might happen yet. But the techs tell me "it's in mint condition."
Caesar - thanks so much for you kind comments.

lovely painting June, could you tell me what BSODs is, sorry to hear about your problems with computer, I love to dabble in comp and see what the problem is, my sister in Canada is always waiting for me to visit so I can fix her comp lol
Stunning and beautiful....I feel like I could almost walk right into this scene....
Thanks Pat - BSOD - Blue Screen of Death! I love to dabble too and have delved a lot deeper into the bowels of my computer lately than I have ever done before. Found lots of interesting stuff in there. When you have nothing to lose it gives you confidence to go where you would normally be hesitant to explore.
Because I lost my original OS and had to do a clean install of Win 10 I found I was without Windows Picture Viewer which I prefer. My good friend Mr.Google showed me how to change/add to the registry so that I could use it again. However now the fun is wearing a bit thin and I just want to settle down and paint.
Must say tho that I have my husband chewing his nails in the background when he sees me trying to get the computer up and running after a crash.
BTW - I haven't commented much lately - to busy fixing comp - however I have been admiring your lovely paintings - you are very talented!
Thanks also Kenmo for having a look and leaving a lovely comment.![]()
