    Yawn

    Finally, after over a year of work (I worked on this a bit at a time, in between other projects), this cat is finally done. It's done with the pencil and eraser tools, no blending, in one layer. I used white and black, and alternated between the two colors to achieve the fur effect. Enjoy!

    Fur and realism is amazing but its unique style is really what sets this apart from other work.

    You could easily get commissions to do pet portraits for celebs... and I mean that as a compliment!

    Brilliant! Hahaha. Love it. Really gets a moment in the cat's life. He pretends to be bored yet the look in his eye gives away that it's only a show, and that they're actually very interested. Needless to say the technique is perfect.

    Thanks for the comments! This cat always cracks me up, it reminds me of my own. Cats are really funny creatures, both to draw and to know in real life.
