This is a beautiful work indeed Gary, I also appreciate the fact that you skilfully tried to deviate us from the real object of the painting, i.e. an array of Scotland plaid grid pattern ties that you cleverly aligned and that in your masterful hands became an explosion of colors graffitis

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)

Your artpiece is once again delightful and I vainly tried to understand what it could express. Finally Andrea was of help and let us know that it was only the sketchy design and ideas for Your new chinese ties collection .... LOL

The kitch Andrea came in with is definitely not a black tie affair, this one. . . though your painting, Gary, could lead to one later.

Okay, since we're in Argyle, I'll go all UK on you. . .Smashing! I really like it. It's like orchestrating a child prodigy at finger paint into a symphony of color and finger trails. Don't trivialize my meaning. I think it's great. Love it. But owing to the technique, I get a contrast of childlike and sophisticated. Very cool. The composition is quite nice and the "restraint" of not covering every square inch really sets this out as we're looking more or less at the entirety of the creation in a vignette, save for some minor clipping at the edges.

Caesar, D Akey and AndreaMG - Thank you gentlemen for your creative and original commentary on this work. Again I love to see where AndreaMG's imagination finds a visual corollary to my works! Always fun. As usual your encouragement and perspective of this work is a source of inspiration and focus. thank you very much!!.

You're most welcome dear Gary, as a token of your appreciation to our comments you might give to each one of us one of those crazy beautiful ties of yours
