And try to ease the way

No mystery here where this came from -- a bit like a creative thought heading your way, waiting for you to get enough pieces for you to make out some of the form and take the formation of it the rest of the way. . .

    Nice one!

Thank you lovely people for your comments - I really appreciate them. I had thought of putting Jasper in the picture but thought that would be too maudlin?

Not really a rainbow, rather a monochrome, but the concept of transition to a different dimension is absolutely clear and well expressed by this painting.

interesting work June, I like the use of monochrome color and sense of depth, a very moving piece. I don't think adding Jasper into it would be a bit maudlin. Just the opposite I think it would add scale and a bit of mystery... but it stands by itself as a well conceived work.

Yeah, Jasper could look perfect in there if you handled it in a real space way, with scale and all that in agreement with the existing natural proportions and so forth. I mean artists can do an infinite number of things, but that's how I would play it if this were the starting point. Then it would be a matter of what he could be doing. Ideas abound.

I half expect him to be around there close at hand because the bird got spooked.
