    2015-0908 John Hare copy

John Hare was an American watercolor artist. I have one of his paintings hanging in our dinning room. I used it as a reference for my artrage version. I used a square brush, knife, and spay.

Nice impression at a John Hare style artwork. Love the rainy type effect on the quay side...well done

The technique is kinda like painting on glass or something with very little grab to it. Reminds me a little of mono-printing where you don't want the ink or paint to stick to the glass so that it transfers to the paper. Cool.

Great excercise. Maybe some dark sign, overpainted on another layer I guess, is too neat and dark for a watercolor and for the midfield position in the painting.
    Panta rei (everything flows)!
