I've been thinking about Africa quite a bit lately. Darfur in particular. These images of African animals are perhaps self-indulgent diversions into happier thoughts of Africa.
Okay, so, I know it's a WIP, but there's something about this - perhaps the contrast between the black sketchy lines in the foreground and the, uh, "minty" background - that speaks to me as a finished piece. Probably silly, but I love it.
Y'know I was thinking similarly, Gita. (Welcome back to the forum!).
There's a pleasing element to the sketched lines over the very detailed background.
Breath bated again, I await the result!

"Sure - how hard can it be?"

That foreground foliage is just fenomenal. Ehem. I still have a soft spot in my heart for the sketchy outline, though. =]
