    St Monans Harbour, Fife

This is an earlier painting done of St Monans Harbour from my Fife Coastal Tour. I used 5 layers and is from a reference photo taken with my phone. On the day the sky was more overcast and darker and the water a muddy colour. Some painting license later, here is the result. Hope you like it

    Really nice!

The buildings are amazing. You have truly captured the scene.

Cool! Really lovely detail. You may consider at some point down the road brightening up your native palette a little in a place of accent that you might choose to draw the eye to. It wouldn't necessarily be much of a change to what you're doing. Just that it would get the elements moving a little and thus telling more of a story in the way you lead the viewer's eye a touch to help the viewer journey through your details. Probably if you live in a place that's sorta gray, saturated colors may not be in your head too much when you think of these locations.

But it's a thought to keep your eye open when you look at images from around the world as offering to expand your visual vocabulary. Just a point of awareness. What you're tackling is super and well accomplished.
