Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way

No Mr.Ploos - I didn't use Someonesane's sponge brushes on this, tho I do use them a lot. This painting is made with the Gloop pen. After I had my shapes down, I added a greyscale texture above the Gloop layer (Import image to layer) this one was a image of concrete - you have to set the Layer Blend Mode to Soft Light on the texture layer. That was used for the trees and bushes - I used a different texture on a different layer for the ground.

I lightly blended the Gloop areas so there were no hard edges.

Here's a short video I made which is probably easier to follow. You get to hear me speak.

Can't remember where I got that particular texture but you can find plenty here - http://www.mayang.com/textures/Archi...0and%20Cement/

Click on the one you like and save the large size to where you can find it again. You can Import it to Layer from there. Greyscale textures work best however, if you choose a coloured texture it's easy to change it to greyscale in AR. See screen shot.

Move the Color slider to the left.
