WOW. Like composing a huge puzzle! I hope it was a relaxing job. I wouldn't have such a patience. Impressive almost picture-like outcome.

    Crail harbour marathon

Hi Guys, Thanks for all the kind comments, this was a long project taking a couple of hours every day for nearly 3 weeks but I think it was worth it. I do have a lot of patience, Caesar...and it keeps me out of mischief. Now looking for another subject to get my teeth (brushes) into.. watch this space.

Reads well, almost photographic tonal values. I' d add some aerial perspective (more contrast and more saturated colors on the first plane) ;>

    Really beautiful

Love all the details and colors. My husband and I love Scotland and have visited many times. His business partner is in Glascow. In the 1960's my husband was on a Polaris sub that went in and out of Scotland. I believe he passed Fife and some tower there!

    Fife..

Hi, Marilyn Anne, thanks for the comments. I think the tower your husband may have passed could be Lady's Tower, Ruby Bay at Elie. I have done a painting of that as well and may post it here soon.

Thanks for the advise, arturjutkowiak, will look into that aspect on my next piece though not sure how to go about that.. any advise is welcome.
