    Took some doing, but I looked up SOS' sponge brushes. Have yet to try them. But look forward to it.

    This is great, Jean! And a bit out of your normal wonderful range. So now you have another look that can be categorized as wonderful as well. Frogs and muddy leaves and even spiders kinda go together, don't they -- 'old muckers' I'd call 'em.


    Really first rate. Your rendering ability really ports over so well to new visual ideas. GO JEAN GO!!!!

    Wow Jean! I love it - perfect for a children's book illustration. I'm hoping to see more paintings along this line.

    Thanks RedS, Mr Ploos, DA and June , this frog is one of four that I got from a magazine quite a few years ago . They were coasters and I was going to paint them on tiles with china paint but never got around to it and now I don't have my kiln anymore
