    A Great Painting!

This reminds me so much of the old impressionist painters. I never thought about how effective the use of different canvas' are. How creative! It adds so much. This puts me in the mood of a quiet day. Wonderful job here.

What a clever idea using the canvas texture as rain. It's a lovely painting and even without the canvas texture you have depicted a cold windy day.
    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

I agree with everyone else, the canvas has been used very cleverly.

    Very nice!

Yes, we could use some rain! The painting is lovely and indeed very impressionistic.

Nice colors. Good experiment and making use of a trick of paint thickness. Fun!
