    Geraniums

Geraniums are so easily grown here that they are not very much appreciated - they seem to be much more valued in Europe and appear to be very popular in flower boxes or hanging baskets.

And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world

My geraniums sparkle like that only just after the rain, like yesterday.

Nice. Don't know if they're particularly valued here or not but I see them a lot. They're sorta hearty and can handle drought a wee bit. Mine respond to water almost overnight, or lack thereof. Sort of like the garden's own first responders.

    Oh my Gosh.

I am at a loss for words. These are so beautiful. This is what art is all about. This is what you see in your mind when you think of flowers, bright, happy, perfection.

A very effective use of the loaded knife (I guess)! The effect is very similar to how I can see them waking up in the morning ...LOL Kidding. Wonderful brush or knifestrokes! As a screen saver I hope it may keep mosquitoes away as these flowers seem to do.
