    Urban Compression-4

    the fourth iteration on transforming and blending multiple layers to get at the dense linear structures that define a major cityscape. hope you enjoy this

    This may be either a relief image of the town from an X-SAR earth observation satellite or, very sadly, what was left by the twin towers collapse.
    Interesting spacial effect and texture.

    Thanks Caesar, this almost did not get posted, it sat around for a couple of weeks then I decided to post it anyway, l liked it's linear compositions and near black and white...

    Very interesting

    It looks like all the power and piping grids that intermingle under the city. Complex and interesting!

    Thank you Marilyn Anne, I was sort of taken with all the web of power and phone lines the cut up the sky in some industrial areas of Portland. Trying to take a photo of something without some wire intruding is almost impossible, so I guess I just took that web and compressed it into this statement...
