Beautiful as always Pat. My thoughts are with you.
    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

    A trompe-l'oeuil, oh lala! Bravissima!

Dear Pat, I'm sorry for Your situation I somehow share in these last year, apart from the far shorter distance of the centre where my mother in law is being kept (on either the bed or the wheelchair by means of a little crane to move her safely) for the moment. I really admire the energy and strength that You and Your husband show taking care of your mother in law. God will certainly bless You for this all. Take care, dear friends!

Haha. Love it. Artists have been wondering about walking out of the canvas, and sculptures coming to life for time out of mind, apparently. And it never gets tiresome. I love it. Always fun to get that to happen where the figures start to breathe. For all the painterly quality, this one still feels like he's stepping through to join us. Good one Pat!!!!
