    It is lovely Pat

So evocative of lovely old paintings that master artists used to do.

I have come to really love still life paintings, remember thinking when I was younger that they were probably one of the most boring subjects ever. Now I just wish I could make a living painting them, sadly I don't think the clients for that kind of market are in my area. Yours is really nice, I like the strong direct lighting, certainly makes it easier to render without a bunch of reflected light and multiple light sources everywhere. Can't say I've ever been good at orchestrating good single light source paintings.

Absolutely beautiful. I love the dark rich colors and the lighting. They really make the flowers stand out.
