    I'm still alive

I haven't posted much lately or drawn much with AR. Pretty much everything I do now is with physical media. I prefer graphite although I've been doing a lot of watercolor and acrylic. Our art lesson for the next two weeks is pen and ink so I bought two dip pens and some microns. The dip pen I was afraid of but as it turns out it's my new bestest friend. I've used it not only with ink but with diluted watercolor, diluted gouache (which works wonderfully) and even really strong tea, all of them gave me good results. Our reference image for out pen and ink lesson is this eagle, which I drew just for fun in AR.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/

Between an eagle and a ferret would be a close battle. Eagles are big but ferrets are insanely strong ans have a vice like bite. The character of Wolverine wasn't chosen for his cool hair. Those things are super strong super fast and super agile. It's a god thing they're party animals or they'd be dangerous. One I had about 20 years ago, before I knew anything about them grabbed some cookie dough off my daughter's finger, she didn't know any better and he wasn't trained. I had to take a screw driver to pry his mouth off. Even now, our playful ones terrify my lab and our 100 pound pit.
