    Cosmos Locked

Despite feeling pretty intimidated by the quality of this forum, I thought I'd share another late night doodling.

    Sci-Fi-esque

I like it. It reminds me some sci-fi themes from early 80's! Things that you could find on an Atari Game Cartridge artwork or similars...

I like it too, I like sci-fi in general and there have been some talented work like this with space or sci-fi themes. I like the way you modeled the figure especially..

The quality in this forum can indeed be a bit intimidating, but it's encouraging to see what can be done with the tools at your disposal. That said I like the form of the body quite a bit in your painting. Just keep working on those fundamentals of form, proportion, scale, atmosphere, and perspective and you'll be in there in "no time". Took about 2 years of really dedicated study for me to really understand a lot of it and start being able to make up stuff for myself that I actually kind of like, though I'm still not quite where I want to be I can see that I'm getting much closer. If you have any questions or would like any advice just feel free to ask, people here are more than willing to help but only if you ask. = )

Just keep working on it, you will get there, and you are lucky to have found such a great community where everyone is so willing to help in any way they can. Good luck and keep going!

Thanks for your support and kind comments all. This is a lovely forum and certainly a place to continue the learning process in similar mindsets.
