Cardinals are a joy to see

Like the way you handled the snow and the use of watercolor.

Viewing your beautiful cardinal painting on my tablet in my hotel room in Assisi. Reminding me of the snow on the mountain peaks when flying over Greece this morning. Enjoyed your lilac too but it's slow work commenting so here are two comments in one.☺

    Nice work with the watercolours,.
    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Yeah, June's probably surrounded by Cardinals being in Italy.

Good one. You have to love cardinals in the snow. It's a picture waiting to happen. Simple background, clear shape of the bird and the color makes it stand apart as in a vignette. Very nice.
