    at the end of a hot day........................the rocks are creaking as they cool

    Of those rocks changing temperature, it's almost as if the earth is getting goose pimples and tingles. . .

    Getting into some of those "Mood Ring" kinds of associations and it looks like the colors of those rings before you put your finger on them to divine your mood. . . which is rather what happens when we look at a beautiful sunset. It triggers something in us, whether it's awe, or romance, or I better hurry up and make camp. . . Certainly there's a potential big metaphor here that looks at aging and so on -- Just ask the ancient Egyptians.

    Another beauty, and an evocative one at that!

    I really like the way the warmth of the sun is reaching out into the sky and not in a uniform way, it's entrancing, like it's trying to hold on just a bit longer.
