so here is some of my art I have painted in the last few weeks so what do you think?

Your stroke economy astounds me, it seems like every single stroke is considered and then placed perfectly where you need it, I'm so messy with my paintings, going back and forth over stuff scraping things away redoing it. I know I've come a long way in a short amount of time from where I was but it feels like I have decades to go to even come close to your level of simply controlled strokes. (unless of course I'm wrong in what I'm seeing and it's an amazing illusion. . . because that would be just as amazing in my opinion)

Great job, I can only hope that one day you will be so kind as to show us some work in progress shots kind of hinting at what you are thinking when you are building it up.

You meet absolutely interesting people over there, dear friend, and I'm glad they pose for You evidently confident to appear in one of Your stunning masterpieces as the ones in here. I'm speechless and in awe in fron of Your mastery!

Masterworks, Sir thank you so kindly for you comments as well if you take a close look at my work it is a collective chaos of paint that isn't exactly hap hazard but a controlled mess. hehe. almost everyone of these is painted with the pallet knife and I use the tube of paint to distribute the paint where I want it. I just mix and mix the paint till it looks the way I want it and I move it around and I also change the size of the tool to often to achieve the desired look. There are often times I use the marker to fell hard lines and even the roller to flatten others. This program offers so many more opportunities with tools than in real life. I love the program and it has become my tool chest of choice. ArtRage forever!

Fun paintings, to say the least. You always had a good way with painting females, making them look pretty and all. That's not always the easiest thing to do. That one with a red background curled forward, hadn't you done that a long time ago? I seem to recall it or one like it from years back that you posted. It seemed to me at the time like you were going for the glitzy entertainment market that Nevada is known for. . . Getting into the sparkly's and dazzle effect. And all the while you also had another foot in the Wild West, cowboy theme. You are showing great ability in both areas. I guess that's the mark of being able to paint, that the subject matter is secondary.

Thanks for sharing these. Certainly it's a great way to wake up. . . as if a dream is carrying over into waking life. . .

great stuff here, I really like the pop you have in your work, either from dramatic color or contrast each image registers clearly and powerfully, a real treat for us all. I was most interesting in the fact that you use the palette knife and tube paint... as primary tools...
