Not bad for a "10min scrub"!
Nice to see donated resources being put to good use!
PS. Had to Google hydro poll. Seems I grew up knowing them as telephone/telegraph polls. Still not much wiser though as to why the use of the word "hydro"![]()

Nice one Jean! if I were to make a suggestion, and if you are going deliberately for a flatter look than usual, where it becomes more about you doing a painting where you're putting information in as a clue to the audience what is there, letting them craft in their heads the full dimensionality of the place, I would think that you nailed it. Some people do go for that look.
If you wanted to create the illusion of more depth however, one of the ways that you could do it, is the area between the holes in the fence could be handled showing depth as if it would grade date later as it goes farther back. Right now it's a little solid, and flat feeling. But like I said it you could make that look work for you to, in a more folk art sort of way. Many have gained fame doing just that. But having seen your other work of still life's using a trompe l'oeil or 'fool the eye' technique, that shows me that you have an interest in a more naturalistic approach. So that's why I'm bringing it up right now with this painting specifically.
