    Spring Tulips revisited

    After the wise suggestions here is hopefully the improved Tulip Bed.

    WOW! They really pop-out chromatically! Fantastic.
    Since You are in a new experimental phase, I would share with You also what I once read here and there in books. That is, should you need to to get a lighter red or green tone from red or green basic one, it's advisable to use, apart from more possibly more medium (thinner) or less paint (pressure), yellow rather or with little white. As for blue white usually works fine. Darker tones instead require the color in the darkest form furtherly darkened and toned down by some blue (or environmental color of shadows) and some of the complementary color.
