    Help the crippled lady!

Please. New here. New to Wacom Intuous Pen and Touch. I need these things to work.

    1) Why is there a big lag between a stroke and when it shows up on screen? Can we fix that?

    2) Why does tablet pen move the cursor but not apply any 'medium?" The laptop mouse pad works.

    Oh thank you so much.

Hello Anna and welcome too the AR forums
So lag, sometimes this is a sign of a problem sometimes not!
Have a look at these posts:

As for question 2, I can think of many reasons why it might appear the case, perhaps you can give some more information on exactly what you were doing plus what operating system and hardware you are using?
I once accidentally selected the canvas colour while drawing and couldn't for the life of me understand why both pencil and brush had stopped working. It was some minutes before I realised that they were in fact still working, I just couldn't see the marks because they were the same colour as the background!

Those links 'about explained it all and then some. Thank you! I will gather data on the stylus/cursor problem.

Are there tutorials here, such as 'how to paint a picture?'

And may I pick your brain some more? (I'm gentle and brains have no pain nerves!)

Try YouTube for tutorials. Use the search box and type in: Artrage tutorial or Artrage ipad tutorial There are a number of videos about the program and some give drawing lessons too.

    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.
