    Black Arises - Beach Sands

    the somewhat cryptic title has to do with the evolution of this work. part of a series using flat hard edge shapes and textural build up, think of it like that new island that has emerged in the pacific..

    This looks like an exciting stratigraphic analysis of the sandstone ground with all its texture, materials and grits a sort of geological coring.

    Thanks Caesar and pat1940 this was an original experiment with black that lead me into other paintings but I decided to post it even though it was more experimental than a finished work.
