    The Offering

Its been several months since I have painted or been on the forum, busy getting things done to retire!.. and post retirement activities but now starting to get back to a painting groove. I am a little rusty and hope to incorporate more of my experiments into some new work... hope you enjoy this piece

    Full of color and interest

Exciting colors put together in so many interesting ways. I bet you can find all kinds of things to do in retirement. Artists have so many outlets. Best to you as you make these changes.

Now that You're a happy retired man, I'm glad You came back to delight our eyes and mind with Your wonders. This painting is sublime!

Ah yes the retired life...the first couple of weeks was more like being on vacation but now I am adjusting my time and activities to a more leisurely pace and getting back into painting and hanging out here .. this was the first completed work I have done for months but just had to get my hand and brain re-engaged...

Like a frosty animation land where princesses are frozen and animators are kept working. It feels really active to me, and the colors are very cell paint feeling. . . Oh my word, I feel like bursting into song! and making a killing!!! WOOOHOOOO. . . <ahem> but I digress. Actually this is a really cool picture but it does feel a little like a 3/4 down shot on a theme park or video game. If you look it looks a little like an icy lake and that's a forest off to the left. That's my Rorschach and I'm sticking to it.
