    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Sentimental painting. I lost mine long ago. I love the crystal ball shooter in the midst. He can tell them in advance which ones will be knocked out of the ring.

Got that glass thing happening very nicely.

Thanks Jean - I should have said that it was painted from a ref - a photo by 'Mustcreate' from Wet Canvas ref library.

DarkOwnt - this is basically what I did.

Background two layers - filled 1st layer with black then I used Jon Hodgson's 'Nice Rakey' brush for the 2nd layer (any scratchy brush would do) - Blend mode Dissolve to the top layer only.

Marbles - Stencil for the shape - then various tools, oil brush, ink pen, blender (Instant Blur) - also adjusting the opacity of the layer when needed. Oil brush, blender and airbrush for the reflections under the marbles. For the light on the top left of the background I selected a feathered area and in 'Adjust Layer Colors' I used the brightness slider on the top layer of background.

One of our members StratoArt, (Dale Jackson) posted this video tutorial which helped me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzB9_OGjBuI

DA - When we visited my granddaughter in Fiji where she was volunteering (helping to build hurricane proof homes) we found one the best presents we could give the village children were marbles - that and an Australian Rules football.

Thank you Ann - I'm enjoying trying my hand at reflections - I've already pick out the next one I want to do.
