A Face

There are some things not quite right. It's a long time since I drew this sort of thing :/. I used the pencil and airbrush. I found it really hard to blur/blend the pencil strokes. I tried a few different settings. Are there any tips for this

E+, I just downloaded the blenders from S1S. they look great. Now I'll have to do it all again LOL. I couldn't get Robyn's :/. Anyway, that should keep me going for a while. Cheers.

Reminds me of a painting I did in high school of Grace Slick from a book on the music festival Woodstock. Same pose. I did mine in chalk pastel and it was also not 100 percent smooth, so to me it looks very natural media, although now that I'm older and know more about art I would agree with you that smoother would be more appropriate with this sort of glamor shot.

Be that as it may, it's very nice and I like the hair too. There's no mistaking that this is a beautiful woman. Nice job! Feels hand done and, as we used to call super smooth paintings, not "Slick" in both senses of the word.

Very nice picture. Can't wait to see what you do with those new blenders.

Caser, I really like her artwork. When at school, in the olden days, my friend and I used to spend many lunchtimes sketching in the school art room. A lot of that was eyes - and big ones. I think that was more of a reflection of make up fashions of the 60's though . I probably need to move on lol.

D. Akey, Yes, I will try another drawing with these blenders. They seem to work really well, and thanks for the comments
