    Excelente trabajo!
Según lo veo yo, el bebé (hermoso por lo demás) ha pasado a integrar parte del universo que asoma en el segundo plano.
Muy acertado el tratatamiento de los colores!

    Excellent work!
As I see it, baby (beautiful for that matter) has now become part of the universe that looks out on the background.
    Quite successful treatment of colors!
    Regards from Chile

I like this interesting composition and storyline. Baby Ivy marveling at the Cosmos, and partaking in and of it.

    Efficient and beautiful.

2001, Space Odissey! A cosmically beautiful baby by a very proud dad (I guess) with a quite disquieting ancient Latin surname .... (reminding me of a frightening Dario Argento's horror movies like Suspiria and the sequels with the three evil mothers. Mater Suspiriorum, Mater Tenebrarum, Mater Lacrimarum)

    Hi there

You guys all nailed it, thank you! Its great when someone can feel what you were feeling in a painting.

Caeser, thats just my art handle. BUT I am a big Argento fan and I've always loved the word Tenebrae. I listen to the Goblin soundtracks quite often and Suspiria is one of my favorite movies.

Hahah. I agree with Caesar. The first thing I thought of was the star child in 2001. Only this time instead of heading to Earth, she's heading back out into space -- a portent of the expanding future.

Very lovely painting. She'll treasure the vision when she's older sailing past Alpha Centauri or whatever. Well done you!!!!!!

I am so touched by all your comments and also the comparison. I -was- actually inspired by the Starchild indeed after looking at the 2010 and 2001 paintings by Michael Whelan.

I can see she is the centre of your universe and rightly so. Love the colours.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.
