    The Old Observatory

Trying to convey aged effect on this building to make it look old, perhaps over did it, and probably should have concentrated more on cleaning up finishing, but for effect? perhaps not too bad, hope you like the picture.....Jack.

    Jacktar:
En esta pintura yo me he asombrado cómo has logrado el contraluz!!!
Y la sensación de "vejez" del edificio...

    Jacktar:
In this painting I have been amazed how you achieved backlight !!!
And the feeling of "old age" of the building ...

I love the old age feeling from this painting. Very well done and very atmospheric!

Good to see you Jack. I wonder if when we were all squatting in mud huts that someone had this architectural design in their DNA just waiting to bloom, sort of our evolutionary path imprinted into our genetic code somehow. It's like time is telescoped in this old place -- looking forward from the past and backward from the present all at the same time. Adam hasn't quite got the clay out of his system and his creations reflect that part of him.

Dear Jack, You kept Your unmistakable style here, but You seem to have somehow "simplified" it. Fine painting.
