    Need help fotgot how too

    Hi all, i got a pic of a flower on a white background ans i've forgotten how to make the white transparent so i can put it on top of a different background.

    one way is to use the magic wand which is the 5th icon over in the selections menu to select the white background and then delete it.

    did that afer a 20 mins for playing around, i use to get the square's as the background behind the flower

    hi all after looking at all the graphic's software i have i remembered i use paint shop as its very easy to cut people and shapes out.

    Cripster, you can simply open the canvas setting panel, set the opacity to "0". One way to get rid of any white square is to set your painting as a "png". If it is saved as a JPEG, you will always get the white square.
