    Thanks all. Heh, I did the crescent using only the mouse and heavily oversized airbrush, a few clicks in place, oversized crayon, a click in place, and an oversized eraser several clicks offset. The vapor is pretty much all chalk on 0% roughness paper and around 20% pressure. The stylus is pretty nescessary for this technique. Just kept changing up the size of the chalk and "whispering" with the stylus in semi-circular strokes and straight dabs. I did a little drybrushing with the oil brush to blend a little but the effect was mostly done with the chalk.

    Wow thats is so cool looking even if i didnt know it was superman related haha.. i thought it was halo or something to that degree, but the clouds look amazing as well as the fire on the tip.. very smooth lines too.

    I modified and reloaded the above. I wanted it to punch through a very high layer revealing blue and light.
