Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world

    That glitter does help

That glitter really helps. I commented on your WetCanvas post of this before you put the glitter in. That glitter really enhances the the color of the flames. I have to remember that when I do fires. Is it your intention to make the flames float above the logs rather than from the logs?

I replied to your comment in the other forum. Thanks for your comments but it is not meant to be photo realistic - if you have seen Bobbi's sculptures with gliltter and knife, you will understand why I made the image this way.

Not sure what you meant by adding glitter - this is the same image as the one posted in the other forum - it is all glitter and stencils - even the logs. Just having fun with ArtRage.

Fire can be a wonderful thing when we're in control of it.

    Thanks all.

Bobbi - I'm still experimenting but a long way off achieving molten look of your images.

DA and Steve - it must have been subliminal not intended. We had a violent thunderstorm with heavy rain last night and this morning resulting in 95% of the fire front being under control - still weeks of spot fires and cleaning up.
