    Harbinger of Spring?? HA!

So, I was calculating how many days until spring, (75) and I have discovered that here in this neck of the woods, eastern PA, we have some birds who have been deceiving us. For how long, I don't know. It was always exciting to see Robins start to show up toward the end of January because it would seem that spring couldn't be that far off. Well! The little feathered brats never left to go south in the first place. They have been here all along. They have been brazenly fooling us. Now I can't help but wonder if even the ground hogs of Punxatawny are in on the conspiracy.

Painted with stickers as a brush. Background done with roller and then blurred

    Stickers, eh?!
Impressively real and crisp. I like the contrast with the blurred background, makes the subject pop out.

A wonderful result with stickers - or anything for that matter.
    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Yes the sticker usage is top notch, I will have to try them out a little more this year.

Stickers are worthwhile exploring for use as brushes. You can make your own to experiment with using them as brushes.

    Very well painted

Outstanding robin and I saw one just the other day. Of course I am in North Carolina where they probably don't all go away.
