I've heard that South Africa, once overlooked, musically is starting to get more and more notice worldwide, certainly in Europe. They may have done for some time, but I just recently backed into some stuff from down your way on YouTube and I rarely look at the date they were posted. So is there an upswing with notoriety for South African artists as well?
There was a fellow a couple years back who came on here from South Africa, if memory serves, who was using ArtRage for presentations at lecture talks, with someone else doing the talking and he was doing graphic "doodling" spontaneously that was projected on a screen as something of a visual aid for interest and to keep people on it. Sort of a newish use for the technology of iPad and so on. Can't recall his name though. Oh, and there's a lass who is from South Africa as well, though I can't recall her handle off the top of my head. Good stuff. So you may bump into them here. And there could be others from out your way. Would be curious to know that as well.

I think out of the arts our musical scene has always been strongest at an international level. As far as contemporary fantasy art and such, we are still quite behind. Most of my client base is overseas. We have a lot of up and coming artists, but fields of sustainable employment locally are still -very- limited.
