Hello Pat.....Really like this painting, the colors are very reminiscent of a older bar I use to go to when the dancers would be performing! Makes me want to go back to Seville in Andalusia because.....Me encanta el baile flamenco en Sevilla!
    Beautifully done! Take care.....

    Hotchacha! ¡Adentro!

Very exciting. Love the action pose. Really gets the flavor, doesn't it.

You have some of that hot Spanish blood in you, Pat. I can hear the clickity clicking of the heels on the floor, the percussive guitar, those emotive cries, the quick rhythmic clapping.

The black really shows off the skin and that hair band like they're all visual accents secondary to the motion produced by the dress as she sharply flips around in this Flamenco dance.

    Good painting.

nicely done. Love the colors and movement, but also love the contrast in the smooth blended sections with the rough textural areas. It gives it a great sense of variety on many levels. Well done!

    Really captured the mood

The contrasts and the power of the dance are very effective.
