    Approaching Night

Hello my friends, I am back again for awhile I hope, still trying to get organized in our home in North Carolina, and still have to travel back to Canada, mother-in-law very frail but still hanging on, that's the English in her lol
Well my first painting in awhile and it sure felt good, will be making comments soon, have not been idle in looking at all the beautiful art that all of you have been doing, just no time for comments, but will be making the time till we are called away again.

Beautiful! Thanks for the larger view so we could see the brushwork and how the colours are blended.

And try to ease the way

What a spectacular painting! Light and color diffuse all over the scene! What a further style jump, dear Pat! You certainly do much better than just hanging on ... but You're still a young joyful lady of course and I doubt You would ever get old, even at 100.

Wow. Pat. This is gorgeous. Really good paint handling. Excellent colors and the composition is a pip. Everything reads as it should keeping its place in the scene. You should be very pleased with this one. Brava!

going in my Favorite Pat file !.

Pat you have been missed here, so good to have to back even just for a bit. This is a very exceptional piece... I have found personally that sometimes taking a creative break actually helps your artistic progress..
