Freshwater Angels: Advice? Ideas for improvement? Constructive criticism?

    Hi all,

I need some advice, critique, ideas.

I'm in a situation at the moment where I'm not able to work at a 'conventional' job so I'm taking a stab at offering my work to the public.

I'm looking for critique in all the obvious areas, ways to improve the painting, technique, etc. I am also looking for whether an idea I had seems to work or not.

One of the factors taken into consideration when buying a painting is how it will go with existing decor. So I thought of using Pantone decorator's colors as the basis for my color palette. This example uses 2015 Pantone colors.

Any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

    Thanks so much in advance!

I've just written on your other post, and think they are gorgeous. Critique? Maybe the grey background is too dependent on the brush's abilities and a bit 'blobby'? Perhaps you could find a way to break the edges up and make a more pleasing border?

Sounds like a good idea. I'm still figuring out what I can do with the watercolor brushes. I'll play with it some. Thanks!
