Beautiful expressive paintings. I'm going to try this candle thing. Today!

I love how he paints feathers with a feather. I wonder how he sets the final painting so the soot stays put (a bit like pastel), and what kind of paper he uses. More research. This is going to be a fun day.

Just tried it - not dangerous at all

Very cool. . . er, I mean "smokin' hot"! Gotta love a well handled Bic lighter.

    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Went straight off and played with this after my last comment, couldn't resist. Just a bit of fun:

My hubby won't allow me to play with fire...

He's been threatening to order me a bubble after concussing my head twice in the last 4 months.

How fascinating. The man certainly has talent!
I don't think I'll be trying it - I'd end up with a house fire!!!!

Interesting idea. Seems like how many tricks one learns somebody comes up with a new one.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/
