A beautiful colourful scene and to think most was done with the knife - a great result. I can imagine all the layers as I just now had a practice with your technique. I tried it with the flat knife on default settings - is that what you used?
    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Yes. Most often used that setting Knife ... but I was varying both the pressure and the width of the tool. One of the keys is to direct the route of the knife to achieve textures and "body" of flowers ...
On many occasions, I adjusted the Knife 1% .
And many strokes, one after another, and sometimes, on one another ...(on previous stroke)
This technique requires a lot of patience, but the satisfaction comes when you see the result ...

A great assembly of colors. It pulls me in.
I like the brushstrokes in the dark areas.
