    Alien Queen

Yup, I'm back to some monsters again. This time I decided to tackle the mother of them all!. Just used the same oil brush for all of the alien with some pastel for the smoke.

I decided not to overwork this one too much as I wanted just my first painted impression to come through.

    Painted from reference.

What a nasty little beastie. Sort of the velociraptor of the alien crowd. Yikes!

Don't like scary! So I see a cricket which has just had a nice refreshing drink of water.
    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Yikes! Can't help but think of Ms. Weaver and her unlikely association. What rotten luck.
    Terrific painting!

I just watched 'Prometheus' the other day and the big booger finally morphed into this one at the end. Such a great monster, and your painting is excellent too!
