Colder weather makes me think of Christmas graphics

Hi everyone I haven't been around for a while. I started to feel creative again. I go through phases where I don't feel like working on any artwork. Well, the weather has turned colder and that makes me think about Christmas graphics again. If you've been around the forum for a few years you have probably seen some of my holiday artwork. Here is one of my latest wreaths.

I used mostly stickers that I created to make the wreath. I was able to use the new grid function to center my background tile. I'm so pleased to have the grid function. I no longer have to use a grid I created in CorelDraw and then imported as a layer to be able to center and space objects. Way To Go Rage Team!!!

Boy, doesn't that red background look like needlepoint. Very cool pattern. Seasonal greetings for sure. I guess the starting gun has sounded in some parts, especially for those who are getting their stuff ready for the holidays.

Well it's great seeing you around again, Aunt Betsy! Was hoping you were well. Sounds like it has all been just fine. Good then. Be well and hope to see you around more, as the art spirit moves you.

Oh, here in Los Angeles it's not unheard of to celebrate Christmas with temperatures in the 90s and sometimes the 100s. It freaks people out who come visiting from the cold. I wouldn't mind cool or even cold weather in Fall and Winter. But sadly I am in the wrong place for that.

    I think this way too

I enjoy making cards so much I already have Thanksgiving and Christmas ready. I appreciate the cheerfulness and colors in your wreath.

Thank you waheednasir. I normally make the wreaths more of a deep green, but I decided to make this one more of a blue spruce for a little variety.

Thanks Caesar. I live in Wisconsin in the US. It’s not unheard of to get snow before Halloween. It hasn’t snowed yet but we have been getting frost warnings. I’ve never been to Italy so I can only dream about your weather. I went to Greece in January once, it was more like Spring than the dead of Winter like it was at home.

Thanks D Akey. I made the red background in Paint Shop Pro 9. I used the Kaleidoscope effect and then used the Weave effect to get that look. I used the Fill tool in AR to get it to tile.

I’m still around but sometime I just lurk in the background.

Thanks Marilyn Anne. I use to make cards for Zazzle and Greeting Card Universe, but I’ve slowed down with all of that. They keep changing the rules so I don’t enjoy it as much as I use to. If I really wanted to make Christmas graphics to sell I should really start posting them around July. So instead of being ahead, I’m really very behind.

Well, dear Auntie, Italy has many climatic, separate zones indeed, so climate in Italy, from the Alps with glaciers or the Appenines mountains down to the hills, either eastern or western coasts, Northern plains and southern regions or islands, like Sardinia and Sicily is far from uniform and sunny everywhere. Like for our lansdscapes climate is actually practically as much varied as in the whole USA.
Rome (Roma) though enjoys the most wonderful climate and the most beautiful skies (colorwise) among all the European capitals and I doubt this could be honestly denied, but, unlike for the monuments and artpieces, that's only and just the Allmighty's merit. LOL
