    A Pot of Lobelias

A pot of lobelias in my garden is looking so pretty; so I took a photo as a ref for a painting. I also painted a single lobelia flower and made a sticker spray. This is the result.

    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Thanks Red I edited a layer with a brick paving grain and brushed colour over and then transformed.

Thanks to you also Mr. Ploos yes, it's warming up now - daylight saving started today - Summer's on the way. Some areas around here get frost at times but we seem to be protected. These flowers must be quite hardy as I put them in last year and I'm hopeless with pots as I forget to water them but they are doing well.

Mr.Ploos - I love you, never a dull moment when you are around.

Mr.Akey - had to look up 'facile'. Means making things look easy. Well it surprised me how quick and easy this one was. Making the individual flower sticker spray took me longer.

Steve - I wasn't sure about the white background - I did try a background but it competed with the busyness of the flowers. It needed something so that's why the paving.

Victor - the texture was one offered by Henry Stahle on his blog - looks like a soft carpet. http://www.pennaochpensel.se/

gxhpainter - a lovely compliment as your paintings are all about composition, texture and colours.
