    Ruler integrated into grid tool

It would be great to have a ruler integrated into the horizontal and vertical axis in the new grid tool. Best would be the ability to move zero to any point in the grid. Points need not be inches, centimeters, etc. Just numerals where the scale can be changed, for example, for each line: 1, 2, 3, or 5, 10, 15, or 20, 40, 60, etc. (plus and minus both sides of zero). It would have a million uses.

Yep, thats a really great idea. Regularly spaced windows, train tracks... and even better - maybe if the ruler scale could be switched between linear and (customizable) proportional/logarythmic... That would be awesome

Every day I still keep fingers crossed for this.
