Clearly he's been speaking to the local owls, who keep rousing his nationalism with shouts of: HOOT! HOOT, LADDIE"

    Very amusing.

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)

Cute bird and love its kilt!

I'm not sure about the vote, it could go either way. We shall all know pretty soon!

OK. Today's the day and, when the curtain of probabilities will raise and show certainty of a result, we'll see what's going appear ... under the kilt! Usually not a most attractive vision. LOL

Thank you, dear Robyn! The appreciation is returned in full!

Dear D Akey, I think he's just worried not to be able to take a heavy enough purse with him/her/self and as You know that matters for Scottish people. Another problem is that they're not as yet abble to fix back Queen Mary's heand on her neck, so they asked Elisabeth II to work as a temporary. On the other side English seem to be getting once again what their ancestors seeded, but they're not guilty anymore for those past deeds and they are quite fair in this game (as far as Englishmen can actually be at least with their pirate and corsair heritage LOL just kidding with our britannian mates). Thank You!

I didn't even pose the problem to vote, dear Gary! On one side there are supporters of Englishmen who are half Saxons and half celtic relatives to our northern people as well as civilzed former Roman empire citizens, on the other side of the wall (the Adrian wall) the barbarians (Scots and Picts) who are nonethelss somehow emotionally more similar to us Italians in a way.LOL I abstain! Thank You!

Thank You, dear Andrea. I just hope we won't be required to wear the kilt in Scotland in case as for ladies to wera veil in Iran ... LOL

Don't worry, dear Steve, at least Welsh and northern irish would stay even if they mostly show to dislike to be confused with Englishmen. Anyway from outside (and inside as well I think), anglo-saxons, as we indicate them all in the rest of Europe, are all more or less the same nation, certainly the same language and cultural base, even beyond the UK boundaries. In that sense Eighty was right in his drawing. Personally I don't like divisions, I rather prefer sharing and cooperation, especially in these hard times. Thank You!

Thank You, dear Koalablue! I just hope the outcome does not further ignite other hot situations, such as in Spain. Also in Italy Veneto, the region around Venice, who was a separated state up to Napoleon giving them to Austria, there are many "hotheads" looking for secession, even if from abroad Italians, from the Alps to Pantelleria island are all "bloody", picturesque Italians and seen alike, with pizza and mandolino who, maybe, are thought to go to work, occasionally, by gondola. LOL

I've missed so much, and this political subject is closed now.
I too have a Scot DNA and have found kin and my maiden name there.
How cute, and so well done, Cesare. Maybe this little bird will fly nearby
with his little kilt and play his little bagpipe for me.
