Perspective grid or Paint on background

Would be nice to get a perspective grid... if not just being able to paint on the background would be nice for vanishing points when they are needed.

You could always set up a grid on your bottom layer and then lock it to prevent painting on it by mistake. I posted a sticker spray preset for making quick vanishing points in my Comic Book Odds And Ends thread, which can be used to make two or three point perspective grids fairly easily. Come to think of it, if you made a number of grids, you could export them as png images and import them in as tracing images, whenever you need them. That would separate the grid from the main layer stack, altogether.
Nothing is easy to the unwilling.
