    Cats ( New October 14)

    Hello everyone.

My first cat painted on the Ipad.
From the picture of a cat collected from the streets and adopted by a friend.
Although the cat is brown, I've decided to draw it in gray and black.

Ah, this explains why the paintings of birds seem scarce anymore. It's this very convincing painting of a cat!

Really beautiful BW painting with a very rich range of values. Very impressive.

I particularly love that lovely light transition under the chin to the chest. For me it leads my eye up and into the picture. It also beautifully integrates the background with the figure. I love the brushwork. There's a wonderful variety to the marks and they seem aimed very well. Painterly and soft furry at the same time. It's almost a heroic pose as well.

What a wonderful drawing/painting of a very handsome cat - and on an Ipad! I love it.

A beautiful rendered kitty, and Mr Akey is right, that gentle transition under the chin is very effective.

    Hello everyone.
    Second cat with Artrage Ipad.
Painted using soft colors, giving more importance to the detail of the eyes that the rest of the head.
