Unhappy There are still installer problems, why no love for linux

There was still an installer problem(path variable from artrage folder structure not recognized by wine) with 4.5.9 with playonlinux/wine.

    My setup:
    - linux mint 17.2 KDE
    - playonlinux
    - wine 1.7.54
    - a preinstalled version of artrage on another pc with windows setup

    Steps needed for my config:
    - create virtual drive(64 bit, if you have it)
    - make sure windows version at least 7 or higher
    - copy the folder structure from your windows machine to your linux machine into the virtual drive into the appropriate folders
    - playonlinux, go to "configure", select the artrage virtual drive, go to misc, "Run a .exe file in this virtual drive", go to your path(should look like this: "/home/username/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/artrage_4_virtual_drive/drive_c/Program Files/ArtRage 4/") and finally open "Artrage.exe"(64bit)
    - enter serial key
    - start drawing stuff
    - click create shortcut button in playonlinux

    To the Artrage Devs:

    - please add a structure download instead of installer package.
    - native linux port would always be appreciated.

    Red face

[1] Install ArtRage 4.5 on Windows 7 64bit machine. Below is installed location and folder structure
    C:\Program Files\Ambient Design\ArtRage 4\
    |_Resources
    |_AR3Thumb64.dll
    |_ArtRage 3 User Readme.rtf
    |_ArtRage 32.exe
    |_ArtRage.exe
[2] Copy folder structure to Ubuntu 16.04 64bit (wine 1.6.2), you can copy this folder to anywhere in Ubuntu.
I copied the "ArtRage 4" to /home/<User>/software/ folder.
[3] Double click on ArtRage.exe, ArtRage 4.5 GUI will start, and ask for serial number.
[4] Click on any brush, then there is no response, you have to kill the program.
I think it is caused by "Use Multithreading" preference based on Phil's comment
[5] Run ArtRage from command line will let you access uer menu, ArtRage GUI will response
    >cd /home/<user>/software/ArtRage4/
    >wine ./ArtRage.exe
or >wine ./ArtRage 32.exe (ArtRage 32bit program can also run under Ubuntu 64bit)

[6] Go to ArtRage->Edit->ArtRage Preference->Advanced Preferences->Use Multithreading, uncheck this "Use Multithreading" option. Then quit ArtRage
[7] Double click on ArtRage.exe again, and this time no issue.
